Backyard BBQ at 220 North Haughton Highway, Greenup, Illinois.

I was very let down. Read all the reviews and saw a trend saying the food was cold. Thought I’d see for my self though.

After I came in the door the girl behind the counter seemed to be almost, kinda rude? Not rude to me directly lot but definitely didn’t seem to make the impression that she wanted to be there, or maybe didn’t want me there? Definitely didn’t leave me feeling welcome.

my ribs were cold, dry, an tough. Also has little to no smoke taste. To be honest I think the roller dogs at the loves would have been better. My Cole slaw tasted wilted and warm and Mac and cheese was salty.

I also orders smoked chicken. But I ended up with a pile of, I’m assuming was pulled chicken? It was very off outing cause it had little sauce the was mocked in to a pile. Looked like it was pre-chewed chicken. Was very off putting.

I pass through here often and finally decided to stop in was surprised at the price but figured it must be good despite the reviews.

It’s not heed the warning it’s not worth you money, go with the loves next door.
